This site is for people who are interested in using amateur radio to communicate through satellites.  I feel the most cost-effective way to acheive this goal is to follow the links and the information contained within this page.    Satellite voice communcation is not difficult.  Actually it is very simple.  The hard part is finding someone to show you how to get started.  I use a homemade dual band hand held yagi antenna and an Icom IC-W32A dual band transmitter / receiver. For satellite receiveing I prefer to use an AOR 8000 for the downlink only because I feel it's more sensitive.
